Cash boost for hard-hit businesses as Victorian lockdown drags on

 The state government is pumping another $282 million into its business support package as Victoria prepares for the second week of its latest COVID-19 lockdown.

Business Minister Martin Pakula said on Wednesday that pubs, clubs and other licensed venues will now be eligible for new payments of $4200 on top of the $3000 available for the first five days of lockdown.
